Can I just tell you what a beautiful time of year it is in Idaho during Harvest?! I love it! The air is crisp, the sunsets incredible and the busyiness (?) of all of the people bringing in their crops is exhilarating! At night you can look around for miles and all of the equipment, trucks and tractors light up the fields like a Christmas Tree! (Which, by the way is 3 months from today!) The earthy smell is my favorite! Of course, there is always the fear of an accident happening to mar the beauty and we pray for the safety of all who are working at this time. People also go out of their way to help anyone who is behind. If one farmer finishes first, even though they are exhausted, they take their crew over and help anyone who has not finished due to breakdowns, injury etc. It's a wonderful time of year! |

Mom where do you find such cute blog designs, i need to change mine very badly! I miss the harvest, especially the fresh dirt smell, I am jealous of you all! Send me some dirt will you? Glad you are keeping busy, miss you and love you!
