I am a GRANDMA!

Good News! I am an official Grandma of a brand new baby mustang!!! That's right! Treasure had her baby yesterday morning. Aspen was so delighted to have a new horse and she has been over there 24-7! I think she would of slept there had I let her. The baby is precious and so fun to hold. When you have a new baby horse you are supposed to "imprint" when they are born. (No, not like on Twilight!) So you are supposed to hug them and maul them and roll with them and put your fingers in their nose and mouth etc. (Glad we don't do this with our babies!) The first day, the baby was not real steady on her feet so we could get away with it. Today, she was a little more secure and assertive and not quite so ready to let us love her. She is already more friendly than her mom, tho. Treasure is a snoot! (Maybe it was just hormonal due to pregnancy? We can all relate to that!) She is a light beige color with a dark mane and dark eyes-definitely the mustang look! What a miracle to see the way a living breathing animal is brought into the world. Truly, Heavenly Fathers' creations are amazing!
