Mission Impossible!?

For any one who knows me, the best time to stay away from me is when I am doing Girl's Camp or getting ready for a child to come home from a mission. I remember when Derek was in Peru, I told him I was getting ready for Girl's Camp and he said "Can I tell you how glad I am that I am on a different continent than You???" Missionaries coming home are about as crazy. I've got a schedule with about 1500 hundred things to get done every day! I love it but no one else seems to think it is as much fun as I do! Right now it is eight days until Austin gets home and I am re-tile-ing/remodeling the bath and recarpeting the back utility rooms. Yes, I think it is good planning to leave it to the last minute...what's your point???? He's only been gone for 2 years...(I say "I", but most of this will be delegated "Honey-doos"!) We ran down to Salt Lake to get some barstools rebuilt and some furniture for Ian's room as the picture of Austin and Ian in the bunkbeds together was just too much to handle!!! (Keep in mind my children are not petite like their mother!! Ha! Ha!) I've got all of my menus planned out and most of the casseroles, meals and bread made for the invasion of the troops. I can't wait to have all of my family here together even tho I know it will be utter chaos! There will be 23 of us together for about 3-4 days-although any of you are more than welcome to come, too! Just know that life is good, and I am so grateful to have Austin faithfully complete his mission and return home to us! Our joy is overflowing! How we love our family and are grateful for what they do to help us! You are the best! (PS-anyone wanting to vandalize and paint "the wall" on Presidents Day-get on your duds and join us!) (Unless you are a police officer!:D)

Count me in! I can't wait to get back at ashley for taking the roller brush to my face when derek came home! She's toast. I am glad I am not there to see you stressed out but I do wish I could be there to help you out, but Noah is sometimes counterproductive to cleaning so maybe I am helping out in an indirect way! I love you and can't wait to see you and eat all your bread!! Love you!

Well, I am sad to say that my little sister acquired a boyfriend just two weeks ago. I told her it couldn't be worse timing with Austin's return just around the corner. I really did think the two of them might end up in marital bliss. But, alas, it is not to be. See you guys next weekend!

How exciting for Austin to be coming home. It is hard for me to believe that much time has passed. I remember little baby Austin, who I was very fond of. You are a great mother.
