Whew! What a shock! To be living with a Swedish girl, A German girl, two Idaho kids and to find your blog written in chinese is just too much diversity!!! I can't think in any language at this point! We are having way fun with our girls and hope they are surviving. It is interesting to look at your family and your life through the eyes of an outsider. I am thinking we are quite odd.....

Our life got a little more exciting when my husband fell 16-20 feet off of our potato celler last Friday. I was waiting for him to come in for lunch at 12:30 which he did, but he was all covered with dirt and informed me he had slipped and fallen from the top of the celler. I personally think it was farther than 20 feet, but who am I? I told him he had the choice of either going in the car or in the ambulance, but either way he was going to the hospital! He had laid in the dirt for 20 minutes screaming with his cell phone on his belt, and still did not call 9-1-1! (Or me) He later described it to one of the girls saying it felt like when you slammed your finger in the car door, except it was his whole body being slammed into the ground! Ouch! By the time we got him to the hospital, we were told he should not have been moved. (Duh!) After doing X-rays and a CAT Scan, they found a fracture on the fourth lumbar vertebre. He was so lucky that is all that he had! He was hurting in the middle of the night and Mark gave him a blessing. In the blessing Mark said "I (Heavenly Father) was not with you when you fell off of the celler, but I was with you when you landed." Interesting to know! My friends' brother fell off of a celler and destroyed both of his ankles. Another friend was killed falling off of his roof. I am thinking we were blessed! It surely does strain a marriage to have to take care of a man who is "so dang dumb"! (Quote of the week by Ashley) I did get him to stay in bed by telling him "I will leave you if you even step one foot from this bedroom...." It must of worked because he told Bishop Lovell and President Driscoll he couldn't move or else I would leave him. (I am kind of surprised he didn't climb back up on the celler just to get rid of me...then he only would of had the pain in his back instead of the pain in his neck...) But thanks to all of you for your calls & your prayers in our behalf. "He is one Lucky bug...." MULAN
